GREEK SUMMER 2025Yearly summer trip to Chania in Greece.🌺✈️Story about my Greek family, visiting my husband’s mother (and her dog) and his sister's family (her husband and the twin boys)! 🍵☕️
This summer trip to Chania in Crete was especially meaningful.🌺🌞I won 2nd place in a Greek comic contest hosted by Post. Pigment Art Community, with a story inspired by this summer trip. You can read the comic here. 🍪

This is a 7-page sci-fi comic about a girl named Yoko and her summer trip to Chania, Crete. 🌺🌞This story won second place in a 2024 comic contest organized by Post. Pigment Art Community under the theme Portal. This achievement led to a year-long illustration scholarship, which I have completed.This comic was inspired by our 2024 trip to Chania, where I blended memories with a little bit of sci-fi elements.✈️I hope you enjoy it. 🍪Available in Greek only.

Hello!
I'm Tomomi - Japanese illustrator, cartoonist, and language teacher based in Greece. 🍵☀️I create watercolor art and comics inspired by the beauty of daily life. ☼
My process begins in a sketchbook, where I draw by hand, then add color with watercolor. I sometimes make minor adjustments using Procreate or Photoshop if needed. I love the feel of hand-drawn work, so I try to keep edits to a minimum. 🎨The tea in the photo is sencha(煎茶), a traditional Japanese green tea - a cup of green tea that begins my mornings! 🍵
By day, I am a Japanese language teacher, sharing my culture with students in Greece for over two decades. In between, I capture the story and make art. 👩🏻🏫👩🏻🎨I have several watercolor comic projects that I started but haven’t quite finished yet.
